Frequently asked questions
Do the instructors speak English?
Yes. We teach visitors from all over the world every week of the season, and lessons run in English whenever the group needs it. Booking in English by WhatsApp is the easiest way.
I have never surfed. Can I join a group lesson?
That is exactly what group lessons are for: most of our students have never touched a board. The only requirement is being comfortable swimming in open water.
What should I bring?
A swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen. Everything else, wetsuit, board and insurance, is included in the price of the lesson.
Where exactly do lessons take place?
On Côte des Basques beach in Biarritz, the birthplace of European surfing and the gentlest learning wave in town. Meet us at our tent directly on the sand, the first one on the beach.
