What we offer, honestly
Let's be upfront: Green Glisse is a surf school, not a camp with dorms and barbecue nights. We don't provide accommodation or meals. What we do provide is the part of a surf camp that makes you progress: a 1.5-hour lesson every day, for 3 or 5 days, on Côte des Basques beach, with the same instructors following you from one session to the next.
The principle is simple: what you learn one morning is still fresh the next day. In three days, you stand up and ride your first waves. In five, you start picking your own waves and drawing your first lines. The school runs from April to October, and session times follow the tide: we set them with you when you book.
Biarritz is full of hotels, hostels, campsites and apartments, so you choose where to stay and how much to spend. The beach is a short walk from the town centre. If you'd rather book single sessions, see our surf lessons and prices.

Is this a real surf camp with accommodation?
No, and we prefer to say it clearly: we are a surf school, not a camp with dorms. What we offer is the coaching side of a surf camp, one lesson a day for 3 or 5 days, board, wetsuit and insurance included. You book your own accommodation in Biarritz and sleep wherever suits you.
How much does a multi-day surf package cost in Biarritz?
At Green Glisse, the 3-lesson package costs €125 off-season and €140 in high season (July and August), the 5-lesson package €190 and €210. Each session lasts 1.5 hours, with board, wetsuit and insurance included.
I have never surfed. Is a multi-day package right for me?
Yes, it is the best format to start: repeating several days in a row makes you progress far faster than spaced-out lessons. Most of our students had never touched a board, and we teach from age 5 to seniors.
Do the lessons have to be on consecutive days?
One lesson a day is the classic rhythm, but nothing is fixed: sessions can spread over your stay, depending on your availability and the sea conditions. We set the schedule together when you book, based on the tide.
Where should I stay in Biarritz?
That part is up to you, which is also the advantage of this format: hotel, hostel, campsite or apartment, anywhere in Biarritz works. Lessons take place on Côte des Basques beach, a short walk from the town centre.
Is the equipment included?
Yes, board, wetsuit and insurance are included in the price of every session. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.
